Read below on how Chicago Rabbits has changed the lives of our athletes.

Ella Kueker (St. Josaphat) 2020-2024
I joined Rabbits in the summer of 2020, so I have been apart of this club for 4 years. What means the most to be about Rabbits is the happy atmosphere at practices and meets and the bonds I have made with my teammates and coaches. I have made some of my closest friends while running for Rabbits. Most kids probably wouldn’t say that they look forward to running workouts, but with this club, it’s my favorite part of the day.
Tristan Wong (St. Benedict/Lane) 2019-present
I have been doing Pinon Track Club when It was Lakeside Rabbits. I didn’t think of myself as that good of a runner until I was trained by Pinon. He elevated myself to becoming a better runner and better person. This led me to placing 2nd in state for middle school in the 800m and being regarded as person who cares for his team. Pinon is more than just a coach, he is a man who wants the best for you.

Addison Williams (Catherine Cook/Parker) 2022-present
Rabbits has helped me evolve as a runner more than anything. I started rabbits in seventh grade and since then I have seen myself reach goals I never thought I’d have. I got to make friends and have fun while working hard to become a better runner.

Matthew DeSantis (St Benedict/Jones) 2018-2022
I ran Rabbits club during 7th and 8th grade, and it was a huge part of my growth as an athlete. One of the highlights was traveling to Reno, Nevada to compete at nationals and it ended up being one of the most fun times in my running career. The club provided me some of the best training I’ve been through and taught me discipline, teamwork, and how to push myself. In high school, I stayed involved by helping train and run with middle schoolers, which gave me the chance to give back and support younger athletes the way others supported me.” - Matthew
